Westside Wild is committed to welcoming and developing beginner players at all levels, offering training opportunities throughout the summer, fall, winter, and spring seasons. No prior experience is required—many players start as beginners, and Westside places a strong emphasis on teaching foundational skills like throwing and catching through dedicated beginner-focused sessions.
In partnership with Elevate Lacrosse, there will now be additional off-season camps, clinics, and leagues to further support player development year-round.
To make the sport accessible, Westside offers affordable equipment options, including discounted sticks for purchase, seasonal rentals, and limited free loaner gear for those trying lacrosse for the first time. Goggles and optional Cascade LX headgear are also available, helping ensure players feel confident and safe as they learn the game.
Through structured beginner training and accessible equipment, Westside Wild strives to create a welcoming environment where new players can quickly build skills, confidence, and a love for lacrosse.
